Hello, welcome to the August Episode of Inner Circle TV.
… in which we talk about the different ways of unlocking your phones, the simple one you really SHOULDN’T use and some of the fancier ones that might make life a little easier (even if it makes you feel like you’re in Star Trek).
We’re back in the sound booth today, so no gusts of wind this time.
Having problems? Watch it on YouTube here.
As ever we would love to hear any thoughts or comments you have – just drop a comment below.
Thanks

Hi Ken,
Jess here, Tim’s a bit busy today.
You can’t store apps on iCloud I’m afraid, you can only store documents, photos and videos.
The best way to see what’s stored in your iCloud is to go to https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in using your Apple ID.
I hope this helps,
Thanks
Jess

Relating to ICTV-August episode . By modern standards I have an old phone , Samsung Galaxy S2 , which I just swipe to access the various programs . If I wanted to incorporate a security pin , the simplest option , am I correct in thinking that the crucial part of the video , as far as I am concerned , is in the first few minutes where Tim explains ” I have just set up my phone to demonstrate the use of a pin as security measure “.
However he does not explain , as far as I can make out , how he does that .
I should explain that at the present time this is not very important to me but would be if I decided to update my phone with a view to utilising the features on a much wider basis than at present .
Regards: Gareth .

Hi Gareth,
Yes you’re quite right, they don’t explain how to set it up.
Usually on an Android phone you can open your Settings app and look for something that says Lock screen or security or something similar. You can then choose which option you’d like to use as your lock screen.
I hope this helps,
Thanks
